Penthouse Apartment, Chester

Although this showhome apartment is situated in the heart of Chester my client wanted to go against the grain of contemporary living as the property is part of a converted Steam Mill and Granary and showed fantastic architectural features.

Split onto two levels the property had a very large lounge area sounded by original solid oak beams. Using this as inspiration Stanza Style came up with a very “Rich” colour scheme allowing the property structure and texture to be left untouched but accented by the fabrics and furniture.

We used mainly oak furniture to complement the features and heavy drapes to the windows to frame the wonderful ironwork in the window panes.

Although the bedrooms were a little on the small size, once furniture had been positioned and plenty of cushions and fabrics introduced they looked cosy and inviting.

The client was extremely happy with the end result.
